New poll shows widening lead for Blunt in US Senate race

New numbers are out in the Missouri Senate race, and Republican Roy Blunt has something to cheer about.

Blunt is ahead of his democratic challenger Robin Carnahan by 13 perecentage points, according to the CNN-Time poll out Wednesday.

A larger sample or registered voters gave Blunt an 11-point lead.

The survey also asked people about President Barack Obama’s job performance. Sixty-one percent of likely voters disapproved. The numbers were better among registered voters, with 55 percent disapproving.
